Best Ma La since I lived in Singapore. Exceptional and authentic flavours. I had the Ma La Xiang Guo, extra spicy that hit just the right level. All the staff there were super friendly and helpful. It was so good I went back the second night of my trip and had the soup, Ma La Tang. The place was empty when I entered, and one member of staff was using the quiet moment by getting the benches on the table to clean the floor and other surfaces. Food looked and tasted fresh. It is such an excellent unassuming gem of a restaurant.- Service

You COULD go to Happy Lamb and pay for an overpriced hotpot experience. OR you could come here for a better priced, better quality, better tasting mom and pop hot pot experience. Fantastic meal!

Quiet little hidden shop. The owner was very friendly. The noodles were really really good. Hits every spicy and sour spot. Have large varieties of toppings too. Very reasonable priced as well. Will definitely go back again.

Hidden Gem of China Town, honestly! Great selection of meats, veg and starches. The family that owns it is very nice and their prices are very affordable. Our go to, value for money hot pot place.

연구실 중국인 친구가 맛있다고 추천해서 같이 liuzhou signature rice noodle을 먹었습니다. 맵기는 mild, 토핑으로 crispy pork belly, 두부 종류 추가해서 먹었습니다. 일단 mild만 해도 신라면 정도의 맵기라 충분히 맛있게 매웠습니다. 면추가를 하지 않은게 후회될 정도로 너무 맛있었습니다. 또한, 토핑도 정말 야무지고요. 사장님께서 나와서 맛있냐고 물어보시고 정이 오가는 모습이 좋았습니다. 특히, 한국인이라고 하니까, 주변 직원분들이랑 아시는 한국말 사용해 주시고 오히려 잘 챙겨주셔서 좋았어요. 정말 맛있게 식사하고 갑니다. 아 그리고 대부분의 영국에 있는 중국식당이 그렇듯, 중국 어플로 결제 혹은 현금결제만 되니 참고바랍니다.

A Chinese friend of mine in the lab recommended it, so we ate the Liuzhou Signature Rice Noodle together. It was mildly spicy, and we added crispy pork belly and tofu as toppings. Even the mild version was spicy enough to be as spicy as Shin Ramyun, so it was delicious. It was so delicious that I regretted not adding noodles. Also, the toppings were really good. The owner came out and asked if it was delicious, and I liked how friendly it was. In particular, when I said I was Korean, the staff around me used Korean that they knew and took good care of me. I had a really delicious meal. Oh, and as with most Chinese restaurants in the UK, please note that you can only pay with a Chinese app or cash.

Best street food from northern part of China. It’s not the traditional hotpot but very authentic. Pick fresh vegetables and meat yourself, you can choose the spicy level and then they will cook for you. Highly recommend if you are open mind on Asian food.
Basic restaurant where you choose food from baskets on the wall. Pay by weight. Food then cooked in either a sauce or fried. Authentic chinese style.
Won’t recommend anyone to try.
